How to play Molten Maroon

You don’t install Molten Maroon like a PC mod. Gorilla Tag downloads it for you once you’re subscribed, on Quest or PC.

1. Find Molten Maroon on mod.io (mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/molten-maroon) and subscribe, logged in with your linked account.
2. Jump into the Virtual Stump from the green headsets in City’s Arcade.
3. Not linked yet? The account screen in the Stump gives you a code to type in at mod.io/connect.
4. Use the terminal to filter to installed maps, then select Molten Maroon and press load. It’s around 109 MB, so the first load takes a bit.

Note: accounts registered as under 13 can’t enter the Virtual Stump.

Things worth knowing

• With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
• The last update was August 23, 2025. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from Oliversage1YT.
