Gorilla Homes Mod for Gorilla Tag – Custom Houses by wryser (2.0.0)
Gorilla Homes, made by wryser, gives you a personal house to hang out in, and lets you swap in houses other people have built. The current release is 2.0.0, from September 25, 2024.
How homes are loaded
Each home is a .home file. Put them in the Homes folder inside the mod’s plugin folder, and the mod picks them up on launch. If a home doesn’t appear, check that the file really ends in .home and isn’t still zipped.
Building one
wryser published a Unity project for creating homes, so you can build a space in Unity and export your own .home file. That’s the main reason the mod stays interesting: the content is community-made.
Practical notes
- PC only, through BepInEx. Quest works only while playing the Steam version over Link.
- It’s a hangout mod, not a competitive one. Use it in private rooms or modded gamemodes.
- After a big game update, test with only this mod installed before blaming a home file.
