Kman Mod Menu for Gorilla Tag – Install, Safety & Fixes

You’ll mostly see Kman Mod Menu in YouTube thumbnails and Discord download channels. There’s no public repository, store listing or official changelog we could verify, so we’ve left version numbers and feature lists off. What follows is the stuff that applies to it either way: how it loads, where it works, and how people get banned using menus like this.

A GitHub repository named for Kman exists, but its description presents it as a “gtag-cheats” project with no documentation, which tells you what category this menu is in.

Setup

PC mods for Gorilla Tag are DLL plugins loaded by BepInEx 5 (x64). The usual stack is BepInEx in the game folder, run the game once, then the plugin goes in Gorilla Tag/BepInEx/plugins. Many mods also want Utilla. The legoandmars original stopped at 1.6.14 in 2024, and current builds come from the maintained sirkingbinx/Utilla (1.7.2 as of October 2026).

When it doesn’t work

Antivirus deleted files. Windows Defender sometimes removes winhttp.dll (BepInEx’s loader). Restore it if you trust your BepInEx download. Treat a flagged mod DLL with more suspicion.

Game crashes on launch. Move everything out of plugins and add mods back one at a time. BepInEx 5.4.22 and older crash on the current game, so update to 5.4.23.x.

Nothing happens in-game. Check BepInEx/LogOutput.log. If the plugin isn’t mentioned, it isn’t loading: wrong folder, missing dependency, or a build made for an older game version.

Only works in some rooms. Mods built on Utilla only switch on in modded gamemodes. That’s intended.

Platform support

BepInEx plugins only run on the PC (Steam) build of Gorilla Tag. A Quest can use them only while it’s streaming the PC game over Link, Air Link or Virtual Desktop. Standalone Quest can’t load them.

Public lobbies: don’t

Assume any menu used around other people can get you banned. That’s the game’s position (its terms forbid cheating) and the community wiki’s (“all mods come with a risk of a ban”). Features that affect other players are the most likely to get flagged.

The lower-risk way to experiment is a private code with friends who know what you’re running, ideally not on your main account.

Malware warning

Be careful where the file comes from. The community wiki warns that some menus passed around as free downloads have been RATs (remote-access trojans). A real menu is a single DLL; an installer .exe or a “key system” is a red flag.
