AZ Menu for Gorilla Tag – PC Setup and Honest Risks

You’ll mostly see AZ Menu in YouTube thumbnails and Discord download channels. There’s no public repository, store listing or official changelog we could verify, so we’ve left version numbers and feature lists off. Installing a PC plugin like this

Setup is the standard PC routine. Install BepInEx 5.4.23.x (x64) and launch once, add Utilla if the mod needs it, then place the DLL in the plugins folder. Monke Mod Manager can install BepInEx and Utilla for you, but it won’t list most unofficial mods.

Troubleshooting

• Only works in some rooms: Mods built on Utilla only switch on in modded gamemodes. That’s intended.
• Game crashes on launch: Move everything out of plugins and add mods back one at a time. BepInEx 5.4.22 and older crash on the current game, so update to 5.4.23.x.
• Worked last week, broken now: A Gorilla Tag update most likely changed something the mod hooks into. Unmaintained mods don’t get fixed; remove it and check for a newer build.

Malware warning

Mod menus are a common way to spread malware in this scene. The Gorilla Tag wiki specifically warns that some “menus” are remote-access trojans. Scan any download, never run an .exe that claims to be a menu, and be suspicious of anything asking for your Discord or Steam login.

Platform support

BepInEx plugins only run on the PC (Steam) build of Gorilla Tag. A Quest can use them only while it’s streaming the PC game over Link, Air Link or Virtual Desktop. Standalone Quest can’t load them.

Will it get you banned?

Yes, it can. Another Axiom’s terms prohibit cheating, and features that affect other players are exactly what reports and the anti-cheat flag. Steam forum threads are full of people banned while running an “anti-report” option. Joining a Modded gamemode separates you from regular players, but the wiki notes reporting and anti-cheat work the same there.

Keep it to private codes and modded gamemodes, and never on an account you care about.
