ii's Stupid Menu for Gorilla Tag: Source, Install & Ban Risk Gorilla Tag mod cover preview

ii’s Stupid Menu is one of the best-known PC mod menus for Gorilla Tag, and one of the few with its full source public. It was made by iiDk (GitHub: iiDk-the-actual), released under GPL-3.0, and the repository was created in January 2024. The README describes it as a menu with “over 1000+ mods”. Since then the GitHub repo has been archived (read-only), so no new commits land there.

Where the genuine build comes from

  • GitHub: iiDk-the-actual/iis.Stupid.Menu has the source and releases. It’s archived but still readable.
  • Nexus Mods: an official listing, “ii’s Stupid Menu (official)”, showed version 6.8.0, updated July 25, 2025, and notes that the menu auto-updates.

Copies on random sites are often renamed or bundled with other files. The real thing is one DLL, iis_Stupid_Menu.dll.

Installing it

  1. Install BepInEx 5 (x64) in your Gorilla Tag folder and run the game once.
  2. Drag iis_Stupid_Menu.dll into Gorilla Tag/BepInEx/plugins.
  3. Launch the game. The menu opens from your controllers in VR, or from the on-screen GUI when you’re not in a headset.

It’s PC-only. A Quest can run it only while playing the Steam version over Link, Air Link or Virtual Desktop.

What it connects to

Read the source before you trust any menu. ii’s Stupid Menu makes web requests to iidk.online for things like usage stats, its admin features and text-to-speech. That’s documented in the code. If you don’t want a mod phoning home, this one isn’t for you.

Ban risk, plainly

A big share of those 1000+ mods affect other players, and that’s what Gorilla Tag’s anti-cheat and report system targets. Another Axiom’s terms forbid cheating. On the Steam forums, players say they were banned while running it with its “anti report” toggle on. If you use it at all, use the movement and visual features in a private room code on an account you’re prepared to lose.

Is ii's Stupid Menu still updated?
The GitHub repository is archived. The menu has its own auto-update mechanism, so check the Nexus listing for the most recent build rather than trusting a reupload.
Is it safe?
The official source is open, which is more than most menus offer. "Safe from bans" is a different question, and the answer is no in public lobbies.
