How to play GUESS THE COSMETICS

GUESS THE COSMETICS doesn’t need BepInEx or any PC mod loader. It runs through the official mod.io integration, so it works on Quest and on Steam/PC VR.

1. Jump into the Virtual Stump from the green headsets in City’s Arcade.
2. First time? Link your account from the mod.io screen in the Stump by entering its code at mod.io/connect.
3. Find GUESS THE COSMETICS on mod.io (mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/guess-the-cosmetics) and subscribe, logged in with your linked account.
4. Use the terminal to filter to installed maps, then select GUESS THE COSMETICS and press load. It’s around 63 MB, so the first load takes a bit.

Custom maps aren’t available to accounts registered under 13.

Things worth knowing

• It’s tagged as a challenge/race map, so expect to restart sections. Learning one route properly beats rushing.
• It’s tagged Hangout, which usually means it’s best with a few friends in a private code rather than a full random lobby.
• The Roleplay tag means much of the fun depends on the group you play with. Agree on the scenario before you start.
• With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
• The last update was December 3, 2025. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from Sava_VR.
