RFVR Bronze Mod Menu for Gorilla Tag – PC Setup and Honest Risks

RFVR Bronze Mod Menu is one of the many PC mod menus that circulate in the Gorilla Tag community, mostly through Discord servers and YouTube showcase videos. We couldn’t find an official source page, changelog or verified author for it, so rather than repeat claims nobody can check, this page covers what you actually need to know before running it.
Setup
Setup is the standard PC routine. Install BepInEx 5.4.23.x (x64) and launch once, add Utilla if the mod needs it, then place the DLL in the plugins folder. Monke Mod Manager can install BepInEx and Utilla for you, but it won’t list most unofficial mods.
Malware warning
Mod menus are a common way to spread malware in this scene. The Gorilla Tag wiki specifically warns that some “menus” are remote-access trojans. Scan any download, never run an .exe that claims to be a menu, and be suspicious of anything asking for your Discord or Steam login.
Troubleshooting
Defender removed something. BepInEx’s winhttp.dll proxy gets quarantined fairly often. Restoring it is fine if BepInEx came from its GitHub releases. A flagged menu DLL deserves more suspicion, not less.
Broke after an update. Game patches change the code mods hook into. If nobody maintains RFVR Bronze Mod Menu, it stays broken. There’s no setting to fix that.
Crash at startup. Take RFVR Bronze Mod Menu out of plugins first. If the game starts, the mod is the problem. If it still crashes, update BepInEx: 5.4.22 and older crash on current builds.
Works only in modded rooms. If RFVR Bronze Mod Menu depends on Utilla, it disables itself outside modded gamemodes on purpose.
Does it work on Quest?
BepInEx plugins only run on the PC (Steam) build of Gorilla Tag. A Quest can use them only while it’s streaming the PC game over Link, Air Link or Virtual Desktop. Standalone Quest can’t load them.
Will it get you banned?
Assume any menu used around other people can get you banned. That’s the game’s position (its terms forbid cheating) and the community wiki’s (“all mods come with a risk of a ban”). Features that affect other players are the most likely to get flagged.
If you try it at all, do it on a spare account, in a private room code, with nobody else in it.
