Are you sick of the same boring old city? Then hop into this massive, overhauled, revamped city, with a mixture of new and old elements, and fun hidden easter eggs to find all over the map. This is my first proper custom map and I’m still quite new, so i hope you enjoy my map, and sub to my channel if you want :D (

Keep in mind that this is very much a work in progress, and has hardly scratched the surface of what i want to do. I don’t know when the next update will be but keep an eye out for it.

How to play Upgraded City (WIP)

You don’t install Upgraded City (WIP) like a PC mod. Gorilla Tag downloads it for you once you’re subscribed, on Quest or PC.

1. Subscribe to Upgraded City (WIP) at mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/upgraded-city-wip while logged in to the mod.io account you’ve linked to Gorilla Tag.
2. In City, walk into the Arcade and use a green VR headset; that takes you to the Virtual Stump.
3. Not linked yet? The account screen in the Stump gives you a code to type in at mod.io/connect.
4. On the maps terminal, show installed maps only, pick Upgraded City (WIP) and load it. The first load pulls about 24 MB.

Under-13 accounts are blocked from the Virtual Stump, so this won’t show up for them.

Tips

• It’s a light download (about 24 MB), so it loads quickly even on slow Wi-Fi.
• It’s tagged Hangout, which usually means it’s best with a few friends in a private code rather than a full random lobby.
• The Roleplay tag means much of the fun depends on the group you play with. Agree on the scenario before you start.
