How to play TRICK OR TREAT!

You don’t install TRICK OR TREAT! like a PC mod. Gorilla Tag downloads it for you once you’re subscribed, on Quest or PC.

1. Jump into the Virtual Stump from the green headsets in City’s Arcade.
2. If the terminal says you’re not linked, enter the code it shows at mod.io/connect.
3. Find TRICK OR TREAT! on mod.io (mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/trick-or-treat-ghosty) and subscribe, logged in with your linked account.
4. On the maps terminal, show installed maps only, pick TRICK OR TREAT! and load it. The first load pulls about 37 MB.

Custom maps aren’t available to accounts registered under 13.

Before you jump in

• It’s tagged as a challenge/race map, so expect to restart sections. Learning one route properly beats rushing.
• It’s tagged Hangout, which usually means it’s best with a few friends in a private code rather than a full random lobby.
• The Roleplay tag means much of the fun depends on the group you play with. Agree on the scenario before you start.
• With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
• The last update was October 31, 2025. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from Ghosstyy.
