How to play MONK JUMP
MONK JUMP doesn’t need BepInEx or any PC mod loader. It runs through the official mod.io integration, so it works on Quest and on Steam/PC VR.
- In City, walk into the Arcade and use a green VR headset; that takes you to the Virtual Stump.
- If the terminal says you’re not linked, enter the code it shows at mod.io/connect.
- Subscribe to MONK JUMP at mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/trampol while logged in to the mod.io account you’ve linked to Gorilla Tag.
- On the maps terminal, show installed maps only, pick MONK JUMP and load it. Expect a ~20 MB download the first time.
Custom maps aren’t available to accounts registered under 13.
Things worth knowing
- It’s a light download (about 20 MB), so it loads quickly even on slow Wi-Fi.
- It’s tagged as a challenge/race map, so expect to restart sections. Learning one route properly beats rushing.
- The Roleplay tag means much of the fun depends on the group you play with. Agree on the scenario before you start.
- With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
- The last update was October 13, 2025. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from Cookie_corporations.
