Getting into Tiny Tag

You don’t install Tiny Tag like a PC mod. Gorilla Tag downloads it for you once you’re subscribed, on Quest or PC.

1. In City, walk into the Arcade and use a green VR headset; that takes you to the Virtual Stump.
2. Not linked yet? The account screen in the Stump gives you a code to type in at mod.io/connect.
3. Open mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/tiny-tag1 and hit Subscribe. Use the same mod.io login that your headset is linked to.
4. Pick Tiny Tag from the installed list on the maps terminal and load in. It’s around 10 MB, so the first load takes a bit.

Note: accounts registered as under 13 can’t enter the Virtual Stump.

Before you jump in

• It’s a light download (about 10 MB), so it loads quickly even on slow Wi-Fi.
• With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
• The last update was February 24, 2026. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from PURPYGTAG.
