Getting into The Wild West

You don’t install The Wild West like a PC mod. Gorilla Tag downloads it for you once you’re subscribed, on Quest or PC.

1. Jump into the Virtual Stump from the green headsets in City’s Arcade.
2. Not linked yet? The account screen in the Stump gives you a code to type in at mod.io/connect.
3. Subscribe to The Wild West at mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/the-wild-west while logged in to the mod.io account you’ve linked to Gorilla Tag.
4. Pick The Wild West from the installed list on the maps terminal and load in. Expect a ~108 MB download the first time.

Note: accounts registered as under 13 can’t enter the Virtual Stump.

Tips

• With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
• The last update was February 10, 2025. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from BagelCommitsThings.
