How to play The Space Games

The Space Games doesn’t need BepInEx or any PC mod loader. It runs through the official mod.io integration, so it works on Quest and on Steam/PC VR.

1. Find The Space Games on mod.io (mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/the-space-games) and subscribe, logged in with your linked account.
2. Jump into the Virtual Stump from the green headsets in City’s Arcade.
3. If the terminal says you’re not linked, enter the code it shows at mod.io/connect.
4. On the maps terminal, show installed maps only, pick The Space Games and load it. Expect a ~16 MB download the first time.

Under-13 accounts are blocked from the Virtual Stump, so this won’t show up for them.

Before you jump in

• It’s a light download (about 16 MB), so it loads quickly even on slow Wi-Fi.
• It’s tagged as a challenge/race map, so expect to restart sections. Learning one route properly beats rushing.
• With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
• The last update was November 9, 2024. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from Jamoij.
