How to play The Outpost: Under Construction

Because it’s a mod.io map, there’s nothing to sideload: Quest and PC players both get it through the in-game Virtual Stump.

1. In City, walk into the Arcade and use a green VR headset; that takes you to the Virtual Stump.
2. First time? Link your account from the mod.io screen in the Stump by entering its code at mod.io/connect.
3. Find The Outpost: Under Construction on mod.io (mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/the-outpost-under-construction) and subscribe, logged in with your linked account.
4. On the maps terminal, show installed maps only, pick The Outpost: Under Construction and load it. Expect a ~269 MB download the first time.

Custom maps aren’t available to accounts registered under 13.

Things worth knowing

• At around 269 MB this is one of the heavier downloads. On a Quest with little free storage, clear some space first or the load can fail.
• It’s tagged Hangout, which usually means it’s best with a few friends in a private code rather than a full random lobby.
• With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
