Loading The Drill in Gorilla Tag

The Drill doesn’t need BepInEx or any PC mod loader. It runs through the official mod.io integration, so it works on Quest and on Steam/PC VR.

1. Open mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/the-drill and hit Subscribe. Use the same mod.io login that your headset is linked to.
2. Head to the Arcade in City and put on one of the green headsets to drop into the Virtual Stump.
3. Not linked yet? The account screen in the Stump gives you a code to type in at mod.io/connect.
4. On the maps terminal, show installed maps only, pick The Drill and load it. The first load pulls about 45 MB.

Custom maps aren’t available to accounts registered under 13.

Tips

• It’s tagged as a challenge/race map, so expect to restart sections. Learning one route properly beats rushing.
• It’s tagged Hangout, which usually means it’s best with a few friends in a private code rather than a full random lobby.
• With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
