Getting into THE CABINPLACE

Because it’s a mod.io map, there’s nothing to sideload: Quest and PC players both get it through the in-game Virtual Stump.

1. Jump into the Virtual Stump from the green headsets in City’s Arcade.
2. If the terminal says you’re not linked, enter the code it shows at mod.io/connect.
3. Open mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/the-cabinplace and hit Subscribe. Use the same mod.io login that your headset is linked to.
4. Pick THE CABINPLACE from the installed list on the maps terminal and load in. It’s around 15 MB, so the first load takes a bit.

Custom maps aren’t available to accounts registered under 13.

Before you jump in

• It’s a light download (about 15 MB), so it loads quickly even on slow Wi-Fi.
• With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
• The last update was February 24, 2025. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from BlueScreamsicle.
