Loading GT BACKROOMS (LEVELS) in Gorilla Tag

You don’t install GT BACKROOMS (LEVELS) like a PC mod. Gorilla Tag downloads it for you once you’re subscribed, on Quest or PC.

1. Find GT BACKROOMS (LEVELS) on mod.io (mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/the-backrooms-levels) and subscribe, logged in with your linked account.
2. Head to the Arcade in City and put on one of the green headsets to drop into the Virtual Stump.
3. Not linked yet? The account screen in the Stump gives you a code to type in at mod.io/connect.
4. Pick GT BACKROOMS (LEVELS) from the installed list on the maps terminal and load in. Expect a ~60 MB download the first time.

Note: accounts registered as under 13 can’t enter the Virtual Stump.

Before you jump in

• It’s tagged as a challenge/race map, so expect to restart sections. Learning one route properly beats rushing.
• It’s tagged Hangout, which usually means it’s best with a few friends in a private code rather than a full random lobby.
• The Roleplay tag means much of the fun depends on the group you play with. Agree on the scenario before you start.
• With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
