How to play Th3GangHangout

Because it’s a mod.io map, there’s nothing to sideload: Quest and PC players both get it through the in-game Virtual Stump.

1. Open mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/th3ganghangout and hit Subscribe. Use the same mod.io login that your headset is linked to.
2. Head to the Arcade in City and put on one of the green headsets to drop into the Virtual Stump.
3. Not linked yet? The account screen in the Stump gives you a code to type in at mod.io/connect.
4. Pick Th3GangHangout from the installed list on the maps terminal and load in. It’s around 86 MB, so the first load takes a bit.

Note: accounts registered as under 13 can’t enter the Virtual Stump.

Tips

• It’s tagged Hangout, which usually means it’s best with a few friends in a private code rather than a full random lobby.
• The last update was June 17, 2025. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from th3_snowy.
