Getting into TaggerSeek

Because it’s a mod.io gamemode, there’s nothing to sideload: Quest and PC players both get it through the in-game Virtual Stump.

1. In City, walk into the Arcade and use a green VR headset; that takes you to the Virtual Stump.
2. First time? Link your account from the mod.io screen in the Stump by entering its code at mod.io/connect.
3. Open mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/taggerseek1 and hit Subscribe. Use the same mod.io login that your headset is linked to.
4. Use the terminal to filter to installed maps, then select TaggerSeek and press load. It’s around 141 MB, so the first load takes a bit.

Note: accounts registered as under 13 can’t enter the Virtual Stump.

Before you jump in

• It’s tagged as a challenge/race map, so expect to restart sections. Learning one route properly beats rushing.
• It’s tagged Hangout, which usually means it’s best with a few friends in a private code rather than a full random lobby.
• The Roleplay tag means much of the fun depends on the group you play with. Agree on the scenario before you start.
• With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
