The Super Mario 64 Map (Bob-omb Battlefield) is an authentic 1-to-1 virtual reality recreation of the most iconic stage from the 1996 Nintendo 64 classic. Adapted into a high-octane Gorilla Tag tag arena, the world features voxel-enhanced Minecraft grass textures overlaid across the authentic low-poly geometry of Bob-omb Battlefield.

Instead of running around on foot like Mario, you navigate the green meadows, stone bridges, rolling ball pits, and the steep spiral mountain path purely with gorilla locomotion physics.

Landmark Zones & Climbing Challenges

• The Starting Meadows & Chain Chomp: Start your run near the wooden bridge posts. Watch out for the stationary Chain Chomp pen, which provides excellent 90-degree corner wall-bounces.
• The Stone Bridges & Water Canal: Narrow stone paths over the low water canal require precise one-handed flick hops to avoid getting slowed down in the water.
• The Seesaw Platforms: Physics-enabled wood seesaws that tilt dynamically when your monke avatar places weight on either edge.
• King Bob-omb’s Spiral Mountain: The centerpiece of the map. A steep spiral incline with rolling boulder gaps that leads to the flat circular arena at the summit.
• The Floating Sky Island: High above the battlefield floats the secret sky island with a single tree, accessible by chaining momentum launches off the cannon platforms.

Installation & Portal Instructions

On PC VR:

1. Ensure Monke Map Loader is installed in your BepInEx\plugins\ folder.
2. Download mario64_battlefield.gtmap below.
3. Drop the file into:

   Gorilla Tag\BepInEx\plugins\CustomMaps\

4. Step up to the treehouse map terminal, select Super Mario 64, and jump through the portal.
