How to play Sky Islands

Sky Islands doesn’t need BepInEx or any PC mod loader. It runs through the official mod.io integration, so it works on Quest and on Steam/PC VR.

1. Head to the Arcade in City and put on one of the green headsets to drop into the Virtual Stump.
2. First time? Link your account from the mod.io screen in the Stump by entering its code at mod.io/connect.
3. Subscribe to Sky Islands at mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/sky-islands while logged in to the mod.io account you’ve linked to Gorilla Tag.
4. On the maps terminal, show installed maps only, pick Sky Islands and load it. Expect a ~39 MB download the first time.

Note: accounts registered as under 13 can’t enter the Virtual Stump.

Before you jump in

• The last update was November 1, 2024. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from Chin03.
