How to play Ruined Forest
Ruined Forest doesn’t need BepInEx or any PC mod loader. It runs through the official mod.io integration, so it works on Quest and on Steam/PC VR.
- Jump into the Virtual Stump from the green headsets in City’s Arcade.
- If the terminal says you’re not linked, enter the code it shows at mod.io/connect.
- Open mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/ruined-forest5 and hit Subscribe. Use the same mod.io login that your headset is linked to.
- On the maps terminal, show installed maps only, pick Ruined Forest and load it. It’s around 30 MB, so the first load takes a bit.
Custom maps aren’t available to accounts registered under 13.
Tips
- It’s tagged Hangout, which usually means it’s best with a few friends in a private code rather than a full random lobby.
