Loading Rotating Taiga in Gorilla Tag
Because it’s a mod.io map, there’s nothing to sideload: Quest and PC players both get it through the in-game Virtual Stump.
- Head to the Arcade in City and put on one of the green headsets to drop into the Virtual Stump.
- First time? Link your account from the mod.io screen in the Stump by entering its code at mod.io/connect.
- Subscribe to Rotating Taiga at mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/rotating-taiga-testing while logged in to the mod.io account you’ve linked to Gorilla Tag.
- On the maps terminal, show installed maps only, pick Rotating Taiga and load it. It’s around 9 MB, so the first load takes a bit.
Under-13 accounts are blocked from the Virtual Stump, so this won’t show up for them.
Things worth knowing
- It’s a light download (about 9 MB), so it loads quickly even on slow Wi-Fi.
