Getting into Realistic Forest

Realistic Forest doesn’t need BepInEx or any PC mod loader. It runs through the official mod.io integration, so it works on Quest and on Steam/PC VR.

1. Open mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/realisticforestlightmaptest and hit Subscribe. Use the same mod.io login that your headset is linked to.
2. Jump into the Virtual Stump from the green headsets in City’s Arcade.
3. First time? Link your account from the mod.io screen in the Stump by entering its code at mod.io/connect.
4. On the maps terminal, show installed maps only, pick Realistic Forest and load it. Expect a ~209 MB download the first time.

Note: accounts registered as under 13 can’t enter the Virtual Stump.

Tips

• At around 209 MB this is one of the heavier downloads. On a Quest with little free storage, clear some space first or the load can fail.
• It’s tagged Hangout, which usually means it’s best with a few friends in a private code rather than a full random lobby.
