Loading Pumpkins Peak in Gorilla Tag

Pumpkins Peak doesn’t need BepInEx or any PC mod loader. It runs through the official mod.io integration, so it works on Quest and on Steam/PC VR.

1. Head to the Arcade in City and put on one of the green headsets to drop into the Virtual Stump.
2. If the terminal says you’re not linked, enter the code it shows at mod.io/connect.
3. Subscribe to Pumpkins Peak at mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/pumpkins-peak while logged in to the mod.io account you’ve linked to Gorilla Tag.
4. On the maps terminal, show installed maps only, pick Pumpkins Peak and load it. The first load pulls about 50 MB.

Under-13 accounts are blocked from the Virtual Stump, so this won’t show up for them.

Before you jump in

• It’s tagged Hangout, which usually means it’s best with a few friends in a private code rather than a full random lobby.
• The Roleplay tag means much of the fun depends on the group you play with. Agree on the scenario before you start.
• With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
• This one leans into horror. If you’re playing with younger siblings or friends who scare easily, give them a heads-up.
• The last update was November 1, 2025. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from YanYanGotBananas.
