How to play PotTheMan’s Jumbled Gorilla Tag

You don’t install PotTheMan’s Jumbled Gorilla Tag like a PC mod. Gorilla Tag downloads it for you once you’re subscribed, on Quest or PC.

1. Jump into the Virtual Stump from the green headsets in City’s Arcade.
2. Not linked yet? The account screen in the Stump gives you a code to type in at mod.io/connect.
3. Open mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/potthemans-extra-city and hit Subscribe. Use the same mod.io login that your headset is linked to.
4. Use the terminal to filter to installed maps, then select PotTheMan’s Jumbled Gorilla Tag and press load. Expect a ~54 MB download the first time.

Custom maps aren’t available to accounts registered under 13.

Tips

• It’s tagged as a challenge/race map, so expect to restart sections. Learning one route properly beats rushing.
• It’s tagged Hangout, which usually means it’s best with a few friends in a private code rather than a full random lobby.
• The Roleplay tag means much of the fun depends on the group you play with. Agree on the scenario before you start.
• With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
• The last update was February 16, 2026. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from PotTheMan.
