How to play Music Gorilla

Music Gorilla doesn’t need BepInEx or any PC mod loader. It runs through the official mod.io integration, so it works on Quest and on Steam/PC VR.

1. Jump into the Virtual Stump from the green headsets in City’s Arcade.
2. Not linked yet? The account screen in the Stump gives you a code to type in at mod.io/connect.
3. Subscribe to Music Gorilla at mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/music-gorilla while logged in to the mod.io account you’ve linked to Gorilla Tag.
4. Pick Music Gorilla from the installed list on the maps terminal and load in. Expect a ~24 MB download the first time.

Note: accounts registered as under 13 can’t enter the Virtual Stump.

Before you jump in

• It’s a light download (about 24 MB), so it loads quickly even on slow Wi-Fi.
• It’s tagged as a challenge/race map, so expect to restart sections. Learning one route properly beats rushing.
• With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
