Getting into Museum of Illusions

Museum of Illusions doesn’t need BepInEx or any PC mod loader. It runs through the official mod.io integration, so it works on Quest and on Steam/PC VR.

1. Head to the Arcade in City and put on one of the green headsets to drop into the Virtual Stump.
2. Not linked yet? The account screen in the Stump gives you a code to type in at mod.io/connect.
3. Subscribe to Museum of Illusions at mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/museum-of-illusions1 while logged in to the mod.io account you’ve linked to Gorilla Tag.
4. On the maps terminal, show installed maps only, pick Museum of Illusions and load it. Expect a ~23 MB download the first time.

Custom maps aren’t available to accounts registered under 13.

Tips

• It’s a light download (about 23 MB), so it loads quickly even on slow Wi-Fi.
• The last update was November 22, 2024. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from Mr_Swerty.
