Loading Monkeys Got Talent in Gorilla Tag

Monkeys Got Talent doesn’t need BepInEx or any PC mod loader. It runs through the official mod.io integration, so it works on Quest and on Steam/PC VR.

1. Subscribe to Monkeys Got Talent at mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/monkeys-got-talent while logged in to the mod.io account you’ve linked to Gorilla Tag.
2. In City, walk into the Arcade and use a green VR headset; that takes you to the Virtual Stump.
3. First time? Link your account from the mod.io screen in the Stump by entering its code at mod.io/connect.
4. On the maps terminal, show installed maps only, pick Monkeys Got Talent and load it. The first load pulls about 84 MB.

Under-13 accounts are blocked from the Virtual Stump, so this won’t show up for them.

Before you jump in

• It’s tagged Hangout, which usually means it’s best with a few friends in a private code rather than a full random lobby.
• With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
• The last update was January 4, 2026. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from CSVRStudios.
