Getting into -Monkey Prison-

You don’t install -Monkey Prison- like a PC mod. Gorilla Tag downloads it for you once you’re subscribed, on Quest or PC.

1. Subscribe to -Monkey Prison- at mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/monkey-prison while logged in to the mod.io account you’ve linked to Gorilla Tag.
2. Jump into the Virtual Stump from the green headsets in City’s Arcade.
3. If the terminal says you’re not linked, enter the code it shows at mod.io/connect.
4. Use the terminal to filter to installed maps, then select -Monkey Prison- and press load. Expect a ~7 MB download the first time.

Custom maps aren’t available to accounts registered under 13.

Things worth knowing

• It’s a light download (about 7 MB), so it loads quickly even on slow Wi-Fi.
• The Roleplay tag means much of the fun depends on the group you play with. Agree on the scenario before you start.
• With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
• The last update was December 27, 2024. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from 1NobleDuck.
