Loading Monke Run in Gorilla Tag

You don’t install Monke Run like a PC mod. Gorilla Tag downloads it for you once you’re subscribed, on Quest or PC.

1. Open mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/monke-death-run and hit Subscribe. Use the same mod.io login that your headset is linked to.
2. Head to the Arcade in City and put on one of the green headsets to drop into the Virtual Stump.
3. First time? Link your account from the mod.io screen in the Stump by entering its code at mod.io/connect.
4. Pick Monke Run from the installed list on the maps terminal and load in. Expect a ~76 MB download the first time.

Custom maps aren’t available to accounts registered under 13.

Things worth knowing

• It’s tagged as a challenge/race map, so expect to restart sections. Learning one route properly beats rushing.
• With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
• The last update was January 4, 2026. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from CSVRStudios.
