Getting into LightSpire

You don’t install LightSpire like a PC mod. Gorilla Tag downloads it for you once you’re subscribed, on Quest or PC.

1. Jump into the Virtual Stump from the green headsets in City’s Arcade.
2. If the terminal says you’re not linked, enter the code it shows at mod.io/connect.
3. Subscribe to LightSpire at mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/lightspire while logged in to the mod.io account you’ve linked to Gorilla Tag.
4. Pick LightSpire from the installed list on the maps terminal and load in. The first load pulls about 7 MB.

Note: accounts registered as under 13 can’t enter the Virtual Stump.

Tips

• It’s a light download (about 7 MB), so it loads quickly even on slow Wi-Fi.
• With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
• The last update was December 3, 2025. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from Connor-David.
