Getting into STUD Tag!
Because it’s a mod.io map, there’s nothing to sideload: Quest and PC players both get it through the in-game Virtual Stump.
- Jump into the Virtual Stump from the green headsets in City’s Arcade.
- First time? Link your account from the mod.io screen in the Stump by entering its code at mod.io/connect.
- Subscribe to STUD Tag! at mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/lego-tag-new while logged in to the mod.io account you’ve linked to Gorilla Tag.
- Use the terminal to filter to installed maps, then select STUD Tag! and press load. Expect a ~88 MB download the first time.
Note: accounts registered as under 13 can’t enter the Virtual Stump.
Things worth knowing
- It’s tagged as a challenge/race map, so expect to restart sections. Learning one route properly beats rushing.
- It’s tagged Hangout, which usually means it’s best with a few friends in a private code rather than a full random lobby.
- The Roleplay tag means much of the fun depends on the group you play with. Agree on the scenario before you start.
- With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
