Getting into Island Parkour
Because it’s a mod.io map, there’s nothing to sideload: Quest and PC players both get it through the in-game Virtual Stump.
- Open mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/island-parkour and hit Subscribe. Use the same mod.io login that your headset is linked to.
- In City, walk into the Arcade and use a green VR headset; that takes you to the Virtual Stump.
- First time? Link your account from the mod.io screen in the Stump by entering its code at mod.io/connect.
- Use the terminal to filter to installed maps, then select Island Parkour and press load. Expect a ~32 MB download the first time.
Under-13 accounts are blocked from the Virtual Stump, so this won’t show up for them.
Things worth knowing
- The last update was December 13, 2024. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from Ratson__.
