International Space Station Map for Gorilla Tag – Playing It Today

Unlike the maps you subscribe to in the Virtual Stump, International Space Station Map circulated as a downloadable map file. No current official page exists that we could verify, so here’s the honest picture of how legacy map files work and what to expect.

Playing a legacy map file

Standalone map files were built for the community Monke Map Loader, a PC BepInEx mod whose last release (1.2.2) is from June 2023. It needs BepInEx, Utilla, Computer Interface, Bepinject/Extenject and Newtonsoft.Json. Current game updates may stop it loading at all.

If you’re on Quest, or you just want something that works today, the official route is mod.io maps in the Virtual Stump (Arcade in City → green headset). Search mod.io for a remake of International Space Station before fighting with old loaders. Our Monke Map Loader page covers the legacy setup.

Does it work on Quest?

Short answer: only through a PC. The game has to be running on Steam with BepInEx; a Quest connected by Link or Virtual Desktop counts, a Quest on its own doesn’t.

Troubleshooting

• Antivirus deleted files: Windows Defender sometimes removes winhttp.dll (BepInEx’s loader). Restore it if you trust your BepInEx download. Treat a flagged mod DLL with more suspicion.
• Game crashes on launch: Move everything out of plugins and add mods back one at a time. BepInEx 5.4.22 and older crash on the current game, so update to 5.4.23.x.
• Only works in some rooms: Mods built on Utilla only switch on in modded gamemodes. That’s intended.
• Nothing happens in-game: Check BepInEx/LogOutput.log. If the plugin isn’t mentioned, it isn’t loading: wrong folder, missing dependency, or a build made for an older game version.

Using it safely

Keep gameplay mods to modded gamemodes or private codes. Another Axiom’s terms forbid cheating, and the community wiki notes that every mod carries some ban risk, even in modded rooms.
