How to play Highrise Construction
Highrise Construction doesn’t need BepInEx or any PC mod loader. It runs through the official mod.io integration, so it works on Quest and on Steam/PC VR.
- Find Highrise Construction on mod.io (mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/high-altitudes) and subscribe, logged in with your linked account.
- In City, walk into the Arcade and use a green VR headset; that takes you to the Virtual Stump.
- First time? Link your account from the mod.io screen in the Stump by entering its code at mod.io/connect.
- On the maps terminal, show installed maps only, pick Highrise Construction and load it. Expect a ~21 MB download the first time.
Note: accounts registered as under 13 can’t enter the Virtual Stump.
Tips
- It’s a light download (about 21 MB), so it loads quickly even on slow Wi-Fi.
- It’s tagged Hangout, which usually means it’s best with a few friends in a private code rather than a full random lobby.
- With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
- The last update was August 28, 2025. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from cel3rity.
