Getting into -Hedge Garden-
Because it’s a mod.io map, there’s nothing to sideload: Quest and PC players both get it through the in-game Virtual Stump.
- Jump into the Virtual Stump from the green headsets in City’s Arcade.
- Not linked yet? The account screen in the Stump gives you a code to type in at mod.io/connect.
- Find -Hedge Garden- on mod.io (mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/hedge-maze) and subscribe, logged in with your linked account.
- Use the terminal to filter to installed maps, then select -Hedge Garden- and press load. The first load pulls about 2 MB.
Note: accounts registered as under 13 can’t enter the Virtual Stump.
Tips
- It’s a light download (about 2 MB), so it loads quickly even on slow Wi-Fi.
- It’s tagged Hangout, which usually means it’s best with a few friends in a private code rather than a full random lobby.
- With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
- The last update was January 2, 2025. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from 1NobleDuck.
