Getting into Gorilla Tag Time Machine
You don’t install Gorilla Tag Time Machine like a PC mod. Gorilla Tag downloads it for you once you’re subscribed, on Quest or PC.
- In City, walk into the Arcade and use a green VR headset; that takes you to the Virtual Stump.
- If the terminal says you’re not linked, enter the code it shows at mod.io/connect.
- Open mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/gorilla-tag-time-machine and hit Subscribe. Use the same mod.io login that your headset is linked to.
- Use the terminal to filter to installed maps, then select Gorilla Tag Time Machine and press load. The first load pulls about 101 MB.
Under-13 accounts are blocked from the Virtual Stump, so this won’t show up for them.
Tips
- It’s tagged Hangout, which usually means it’s best with a few friends in a private code rather than a full random lobby.
- The Roleplay tag means much of the fun depends on the group you play with. Agree on the scenario before you start.
- With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
