How the gamemode works:

A random person will be chosen as a ghost, and if that person tags everyone then only THEY will get a point (the first person who was a ghost in a round will get the point for that round if the ghosts win). But, if the survivors win, by surviving until the timer runs out, ALL remaining players who were not tagged will get a point. If everyone gets tagged by the ghosts, the round will instantly end and will give the point to the person who was first to be the ghost of that round.

Loading Ghost Tag in Gorilla Tag

Ghost Tag doesn’t need BepInEx or any PC mod loader. It runs through the official mod.io integration, so it works on Quest and on Steam/PC VR.

1. In City, walk into the Arcade and use a green VR headset; that takes you to the Virtual Stump.
2. Not linked yet? The account screen in the Stump gives you a code to type in at mod.io/connect.
3. Subscribe to Ghost Tag at mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/ghost-tag1 while logged in to the mod.io account you’ve linked to Gorilla Tag.
4. Pick Ghost Tag from the installed list on the maps terminal and load in. It’s around 15 MB, so the first load takes a bit.

Custom maps aren’t available to accounts registered under 13.

Before you jump in

• It’s a light download (about 15 MB), so it loads quickly even on slow Wi-Fi.
• It’s tagged as a challenge/race map, so expect to restart sections. Learning one route properly beats rushing.
• With competitive or minigame tags, sessions play better when everyone has already loaded the map before the round starts.
