Loading Flight Simulator in Gorilla Tag

You don’t install Flight Simulator like a PC mod. Gorilla Tag downloads it for you once you’re subscribed, on Quest or PC.

1. In City, walk into the Arcade and use a green VR headset; that takes you to the Virtual Stump.
2. Not linked yet? The account screen in the Stump gives you a code to type in at mod.io/connect.
3. Find Flight Simulator on mod.io (mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/flight-simulator) and subscribe, logged in with your linked account.
4. Use the terminal to filter to installed maps, then select Flight Simulator and press load. It’s around 19 MB, so the first load takes a bit.

Custom maps aren’t available to accounts registered under 13.

Things worth knowing

• It’s a light download (about 19 MB), so it loads quickly even on slow Wi-Fi.
• It’s tagged Hangout, which usually means it’s best with a few friends in a private code rather than a full random lobby.
• The Roleplay tag means much of the fun depends on the group you play with. Agree on the scenario before you start.
• The last update was September 14, 2025. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from CrocoBuilds.
