Loading ACT 2 DreamCore in Gorilla Tag
Because it’s a mod.io map, there’s nothing to sideload: Quest and PC players both get it through the in-game Virtual Stump.
- Subscribe to ACT 2 DreamCore at mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/dreamcore6 while logged in to the mod.io account you’ve linked to Gorilla Tag.
- Head to the Arcade in City and put on one of the green headsets to drop into the Virtual Stump.
- If the terminal says you’re not linked, enter the code it shows at mod.io/connect.
- On the maps terminal, show installed maps only, pick ACT 2 DreamCore and load it. It’s around 48 MB, so the first load takes a bit.
Custom maps aren’t available to accounts registered under 13.
Things worth knowing
- It’s tagged as a challenge/race map, so expect to restart sections. Learning one route properly beats rushing.
- It’s tagged Hangout, which usually means it’s best with a few friends in a private code rather than a full random lobby.
- The Roleplay tag means much of the fun depends on the group you play with. Agree on the scenario before you start.
