Crystal Playground – Gorilla Tag Custom Map by DownsightVR1
Crystal Playground is a medium-sized custom map for Gorilla Tag, made by DownsightVR1 and published on mod.io. The creator’s one-line pitch: “Hover, Glide Or Swing Around Crystal Playground, The Sandbox With Endless Possibilities! NOTICE: This Is My First Map So There May Be Bugs But Have Fun! - DownsightVR (:” The mod.io tags put it under challenge, custom game.

How to play Crystal Playground
You don’t install Crystal Playground like a PC mod. Gorilla Tag downloads it for you once you’re subscribed, on Quest or PC.
- Jump into the Virtual Stump from the green headsets in City’s Arcade.
- Not linked yet? The account screen in the Stump gives you a code to type in at mod.io/connect.
- Open mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/crystal-playground and hit Subscribe. Use the same mod.io login that your headset is linked to.
- Pick Crystal Playground from the installed list on the maps terminal and load in. Expect a ~24 MB download the first time.
Under-13 accounts are blocked from the Virtual Stump, so this won’t show up for them.
Things worth knowing
- It’s a light download (about 24 MB), so it loads quickly even on slow Wi-Fi.
- It’s tagged as a challenge/race map, so expect to restart sections. Learning one route properly beats rushing.
