Getting into ¤ CHIMP COMBAT ¤
You don’t install ¤ CHIMP COMBAT ¤ like a PC mod. Gorilla Tag downloads it for you once you’re subscribed, on Quest or PC.
- Open mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/chimp-combat and hit Subscribe. Use the same mod.io login that your headset is linked to.
- Jump into the Virtual Stump from the green headsets in City’s Arcade.
- Not linked yet? The account screen in the Stump gives you a code to type in at mod.io/connect.
- Pick ¤ CHIMP COMBAT ¤ from the installed list on the maps terminal and load in. The first load pulls about 39 MB.
Under-13 accounts are blocked from the Virtual Stump, so this won’t show up for them.
Tips
- It’s tagged as a challenge/race map, so expect to restart sections. Learning one route properly beats rushing.
- It’s tagged Hangout, which usually means it’s best with a few friends in a private code rather than a full random lobby.
