How to play Cave Escape

Cave Escape doesn’t need BepInEx or any PC mod loader. It runs through the official mod.io integration, so it works on Quest and on Steam/PC VR.

1. Head to the Arcade in City and put on one of the green headsets to drop into the Virtual Stump.
2. If the terminal says you’re not linked, enter the code it shows at mod.io/connect.
3. Open mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/cave-escape and hit Subscribe. Use the same mod.io login that your headset is linked to.
4. On the maps terminal, show installed maps only, pick Cave Escape and load it. The first load pulls about 19 MB.

Under-13 accounts are blocked from the Virtual Stump, so this won’t show up for them.

Tips

• It’s a light download (about 19 MB), so it loads quickly even on slow Wi-Fi.
