What Is the Bikini Bottom Map?

The Bikini Bottom Map is one of the most beloved community creations in Gorilla Tag history. Crafted with meticulous attention to cartoon detail, it transports players beneath the ocean into SpongeBob SquarePants’ iconic hometown.

Instead of basic geometric blocks, every iconic building from Conch Street is modeled with full 3D collision physics: you can jump onto Patrick’s brown boulder rock, scale Squidward’s Easter Island head, and branch across the leaves of SpongeBob’s giant pineapple house.

Interactive Locations & Easter Eggs

• Conch Street: Scale the roofs of Patrick, Squidward, and SpongeBob’s residences. The interiors are fully modeled, allowing you to hide inside SpongeBob’s living room or climb Squidward’s art studio.
• The Krusty Krab: Hop over the order boat counter, explore Mr. Krabs’ office with the money mattress, and jump into the kitchen grill.

• The Roof-to-Pineapple Leap: From Squidward’s flat brow ridge, you can perform a full-extension arm launch directly onto the lower rim of SpongeBob’s pineapple leaves.
• Chum Bucket Fist Drop: Climb the antenna of the Chum Bucket fist and fling yourself across the asphalt road directly onto the Krusty Krab roof flags to escape incoming lava monkes.

Installation Guide for PC & Standalone Quest

On PC VR:

1. Ensure Monke Map Loader is installed in Gorilla Tag\BepInEx\plugins\.
2. Download bikinibottom.gtmap from the verified link below.
3. Move bikinibottom.gtmap into:

   Gorilla Tag\BepInEx\plugins\CustomMaps\

4. In the treehouse terminal, scroll to Bikini Bottom, select Enter, and walk into the portal.

On Meta Quest Standalone:

1. Connect Quest to PC with QuestPatcher.
2. Drag bikinibottom.gtmap into the Custom Assets/Maps tab.
3. Sync and launch Gorilla Tag in VR.
