Loading ≡ Big Cheese ≡ in Gorilla Tag

Because it’s a mod.io map, there’s nothing to sideload: Quest and PC players both get it through the in-game Virtual Stump.

1. Find ≡ Big Cheese ≡ on mod.io (mod.io/g/gorilla-tag/m/big-cheese) and subscribe, logged in with your linked account.
2. Jump into the Virtual Stump from the green headsets in City’s Arcade.
3. First time? Link your account from the mod.io screen in the Stump by entering its code at mod.io/connect.
4. Use the terminal to filter to installed maps, then select ≡ Big Cheese ≡ and press load. The first load pulls about 17 MB.

Custom maps aren’t available to accounts registered under 13.

Before you jump in

• It’s a light download (about 17 MB), so it loads quickly even on slow Wi-Fi.
• It’s tagged Hangout, which usually means it’s best with a few friends in a private code rather than a full random lobby.
• The last update was April 19, 2025. Big Gorilla Tag updates can break older maps, so if it won’t load, check the mod.io page for a newer file or a note from GrossAcid.
